雅思口语Part 2：熬夜赶DDL的苦，谁懂？

本期节目话题背景  

最近，有同学问了我这样一道题“Describeatimewhenyouhadtouseyourimagination.”，我就想起了之前帮朋友脑暴写电影剧本的时候，真是将我的想象力发挥到淋漓尽致。我们从下午两点一直工作到凌晨三点，真的累坏了。但是，那对我来说是一次挑战，也是一次难忘的经历。  

想象力是一件很神奇的东西，它可以拥有无限的力量，给你无限的空间让你去充分发挥自己。各位同学，请在还能做梦的年纪尽情地去发挥你们的想象力吧。

Irememberthisonetimeoneofmyfriendsaskedmetohelphimcomeupwithamovieideainjustonedaysohecanmeetadeadline.Basically,hewasaproducerforaChinesefilmcompanyandtheyarelookingforideasforthenextmovieproject.Hereallywantedtowintheprojectsohesubmittedhisownmovieideatotheboss.Unfortunately,hisproposalwasrejectedbutthebossthoughttheideawasinterestingbutneededmorework.  

Hethenbeggedhisbossforanotherchanceandthebossagreedtogivehimonemoredaytocomeupwithabetterstoryandmoreinterestingending.SinceIhavestudiedscreenwritinginuniversityandwritingismyhobby,hecametomeandaskedifIwouldbeinterestedinco-writingthescreenplay.Butwhenheaskedmeonthatday,itwasalready2p.m.intheafternoon.ButIdecidedtohelphimasIthoughtitwouldbefuntoputmywritingabilityupforachallenge.  

Sowedecidedtogotoacoffeeshoptoworkonit.Afterseveralhours,wedidn’tmakealotofprogress.Hefeltlikewedidn’thaveenoughcreativejuiceandneededalcoholsinceallfamouswritersdrinkandsmoke.Sowewenttoabarandstarteddrinkingandwritingatthesametime.Amazingly,ideasstartedtoflowandweactuallyfinishedthesynopsisaround3a.m.whenthebarclosed.Wewerebothdeadtiredbuthemanagedtoemailourworktohisboss.Unfortunately,theideastillgotrejectedasthecompanydecidedtogowithabiggerwritingteam.Butforme,Irealizedthatmeetingdeadlineisn’tprobablyaverygoodideaforajobthatrequirescreativityandimagination.
